We lied. We decided to stick with the continuity and introduce a new character who seems to be following the teachings of St. Bastard.

Why is there a chaplain on an alien monkey space ship? We're going to pretend we know the answer to that question.

I was ag'in it. Now I'm f'or it.

I've been against the idea of introducing new characters for a while because I think we already have plenty that we don't use often enough.

But when the opportunity came around to introduce a chaplain to the ship, especially a seemingly evil, incompetent monkey chaplain, well, that temptation proved too rich to resist.

I'm the same way with warm-baked desserts.
