To celebrate the end of the writers' strike, we decided to go ahead and bring you an installment of the replacement we had in the works in the event of a prolonged hiatus. Look at what might've been, and weep. Comment
Not only was this going to replace our comic for the duration of the strike, it was going to be a 13-part series. There would have been shady characters, exotic dives and dangerous romance, all told in noirish semi-black-and-white. It was to be called, "The Dame's Husband Fell Into a Vat and Became a Hot Dog." In retrospect, I think that title might have given away too much.
